The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported 32 new COVID-19 cases had been identified in Ellis County from June 11 to 17.
KDHE reports updated case numbers weekly on Wednesdays.
Several northwest Kansas counties, including Ellis and Trego, were included among those with high incidence of coronavirus.

Since reporting began, there have been 7,300 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 79 coronavirus-related deaths as of April 1. KDHE has also discontinued county-by-county death totals.
