Grow Hays
Grow Hays, Inc., a nonprofit organization aimed at advancing the economic health and vitality of Ellis County, announces the completion of street and infrastructure improvements to Wheatland Drive to the north of 22nd Street.
These improvements provide for an additional 12 lots in Heart of America Developments Tallgrass 2nd Addition.
Construction is scheduled to begin on 12 new homes on Wheatland Drive in September.
Since the fall of 2021, 54 new homes have been constructed. Development plans are underway for Phase 4, consisting of 75 - 80 lots and will be located directly north of the existing development.
Doug Williams, executive director of Grow Hays said “Heart of America Development and the contractors building homes in the Tallgrass 2nd Addition continue to provide high value housing to our community. The homes in this development have all sold well before completion and demand remains very strong.”
