ELLIS COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Saturday in Ellis County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Chevy Equinox driven by Keith&nbsp;Dechant, 56, Hays, was eastbound on Interstate 70 less than one mile east of Hays.

The Equinox rear-ended a 2017 Nissan Frontier driven by&nbsp; Charles R.&nbsp;Lehman, 68, Central City, Colorado, who had slowed down due to blowing dust and zero visibility.&nbsp; After the crash a 2018 Tesla driven by Daniel S. Hartman, 29, Mill Valley, California, struck the Nissan.

EMS transported two passengers in the Chevy Brenda M.&nbsp;Dechant, 57 and James H.&nbsp;Girvan, 83, both of Hays to Hays Medical Center.&nbsp; Keith Dechant, Lehman and Hartman were not injured. All five were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
