Allen Wayne Thompson, 61, passed away on March 4, 2022, at home in 
Great Bend, Kansas. He was born on July 24, 1960, in Great Bend, Kansas,
 to Kenneth &amp; Constance “Connie” (Denney) Thompson.

A life-time resident of Great Bend, Allen worked as a manager at Zip Stop. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music.

Survivors include his father; a brother, Steven Thompson of Great 
Bend; a sister, Terri (Ken) Fritz, of Great Bend; nieces, Kristy 
Creamer, Misty Skinner, Julie Thompson, and Chelsey Varela; and nephews,
 Charley Fritz, Keith Fritz, and Douglas Ferguson. He is preceded in 
death by his mother and a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Daryl 
Ferguson.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A family service will be set for a later date.
