Michele Ann Potter, age 50, of WaKeeney, Kansas passed away at her home on Friday, November 15, 2024, at her home.
She was born August 13, 1974, in Stanton, California to Thomas Dale and Deborah Ann (McGinnis) Potter.
She grew up and attended high School in Bakersfield, California. She moved to Ransom in 2005, then to WaKeeney in 2010. She was a mother, a homemaker and enjoyed country music, cooking, crocheting, diamond painting, dolphins and crafts.
Michele is survived by her children, Amber Marie Potter and Dustin Schmeidler, Hays, KS; Jennifer Leanne Potter, Hays, KS; Matthew Thomas Potter, WaKeeney, KS; her significant other, Jerry Wiseman, WaKeeney, KS; her father, Thomas D. Potter, WaKeeney, KS; sisters, Laurie Potter, Bellingham, WA; Stacey Potter, Hays, KS; her nephews and nieces, Amy Van Ingen; Anna Van Dalen (Truman); Garrit Van Ingen; Justin Potter; her great nephew and great niece, Kido Van Dalen and Olivia Van Dalen; many cousins, including Gina Austin (David); and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Ann Potter; her grandparents, Warren and Elsie Potter; and James Allen and Renota Jean McGinnis; and her step grandfather, Jim Crowder.
Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the WaKeeney City Cemetery WaKeeney, Kansas with Pastor John Anderson Officiating.
