Hays receives more rain Thursday into Friday morning

Hays received another 1.45 inches of rain Thursday into Friday morning, according to the K-State Ag Research Center. 

The Eagle Media Center at 2300 Hall received 1.50 inches of rain. 

Hays has received 2.19 inches of rain in July and 14.92 inches of precipitation this year.

Hays averages 3.33 inches of rain in July and 14.67 inches of precipitation by the end of July.

Friday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high near 92.

Warm temperatures are expected through the weekend with highs in the low 90s on Friday and Saturday before cooling into the upper 80s on Sunday.

Additional chances of showers, and the skies are looking increasingly clear during the next seven days.
