On Tuesday, some residents will experience a temporary water shutoff.
While preparing to replace a hydrant at 13th and Haney, Hays city crews discovered a broken valve in the intersection that also needs replacing.
Once the area is safely exposed, water will be shut off so our team can make the necessary repairs.
If your property is affected, you should have received a door tag late this afternoon.
The city regrets any inconvenience this may cause and will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore your water service!
