Karen A. Henneke, 80, passed away August 31, 2021, at KU Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She was born on May 14, 1941, at Fergus Falls, Minn. to Walter D. & Dorothy (Heaton) Bradehoft. She married Wayne Henneke on March 13, 1982, at Minneapolis, Minn.
Coming to Great Bend from Minneapolis, Minn. in 1996, Karen was an engraver at Awards Incorporated, Minneapolis, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Great Bend Zoological Society and various cat associations. Karen was compassionate animal lover.
Survivors include, her husband, Wayne Henneke of the home; and a brother, Wayne Bradehoft of Minneapolis, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Charles Bradehoft.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A graveside inurnment will take place at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery Fergus Falls, Minn. Memorials have been designated to the Great Bend Zoological Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
