David A. Law, Jetmore
David A. Law, 82, passed away September 30, 2023 at his home in Jetmore with his family by his side.
He was born May 26, 1941 in Jetmore, the son of George A. and Mildred E. Pittaway Law. A lifetime area resident, he was a truck driver.
He attended the Jetmore Methodist Church and was a member of the American Legion, Legion Riders, NRA and served in the United States Army. David loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed motorcycles, racing motorcycles, hunting and loved the Kansas City Chiefs.
On August 1, 2015 he married Juanita Ramos in Jetmore. She survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters, LeAnna (Van) Kay Brown, Eads, CO and Lacy (Abe) Renee Queen, Wiley, CO; sister, Evelyn Bradford, Sawyer; four grandchildren, Ashley Ferguson, Victor Brown, Rylee Queen, Wyatt Queen and two great-grandchildren, Amari and Kyrie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deanna Lee Law; sister, Dorothy (Arlyn) Bradford, and a brother-in-law, Don Bradford.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 at Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore with Pastor David Johnson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore with military graveside rites.
