KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fort Hays State rose to No. 15 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, released on October 4th. The Tigers have been among the Top 25 in four of the five regular season polls and the preseason poll this year.
The Tigers defeated Southern Nazarene 3-1 and slipped past then No. 16 Northeastern State 2-1 last week to keep sole leadership in the GAC/MIAA standings and rise from No. 24 to No. 15 in the national poll. FHSU is 7-2-3 overall on the year.
Fort Hays State and Northeastern State remain the only two teams from the GAC/MIAA listed in the Top 25, with the RiverHawks dropping to No. 22 this week.
