2022 Ellis County Fair right around the corner

The Ellis County Fair is gearing up for another fun-filled week. Join us for a Barnyard Mardi Gras at the Ellis County Fair July 16-23, 2022. 

The Ellis County Fair brings you seven nights of main events for only $30 per pass. Kids 5 and under are free. Single night entry is $20. The seven nights of entertainment include two nights of 305 sprints, modifieds, sport compacts and more at RPM Speedway. Come back on Tuesday and Wednesday for two nights of KPRA rodeo with the ever-popular mutton busting! Thursday will feature barrel races. Friday we are excited to have Jerrod Niemann in concert! He is a Liberal, Kansas native and has top hits such as Lover, Lover and Drink to that all Night. Saturday will close out the fair with the popular Ranch Rodeo. 

There are a number of activities that are free at the fair. Bring your family out to stroll through the air-conditioned buildings to see all the open class and 4-H projects that were entered. The kids pedal pull makes a return along with a kid’s workshop. There’s a Lego competition and a number of 4-H livestock competitions that are all free to enter. 

The inflatable carnival which includes games, prizes, laser tag, and a virtual reality roller coaster is making a return to the fair. Armbands are only $6 per night. 

The midway will have lots of food vendors, beer garden, mechanical bull, and free concerts nightly on the midway stage. The midway acts include Ragland, Mike Benish Band, DOC, Paramount, and Crazy Horse 2.0.
