A Jetmore radiologic technologist voluntarily surrendered his license on Monday in lieu of revocation after being convicted of sex crimes with a child.
Anthony R. Sherrill, a radiologic technologist, was convicted on Jan. 5, 2024, in Johnson County District Court of two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. He was sentenced to 34 months in prison on each count to be served concurrently, according to the consent order from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
His sentences were suspended, and he was placed on 36 months of supervised probation, followed by lifetime post-release supervision.
On April 17, 2024, Sherrill was convicted in Edwards County District Court of one count of aggravated endangering a child, according to the consent order. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison with 36 months of supervised probation followed by 12 months of post-release supervision.
The felony convictions subject him to discipline by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
According to the consent order, Sherill waived his rights to dispute the proceeding before the board.
Sherrill had been a licensed radiologic technologist in Kansas since 2013.
