Clinton Duane Ream, son of George and Geneva (Reitz) Ream, was born January 9th, 1925 in Smith County, KS. He passed away on June 10, 2022 at the Sunporch in Smith Center at the age of 97.

Duane attended school in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served his country for 4 years, being honorably discharged as a Staff Sgt. He then attended photography school in Connecticut.

On June 24, 1947, he was united in marriage to Joan Olliff. The couple made their home in Lebanon where he was an electrician and owner of C & R supply. In 1959, the couple adopted their daughter, Kristi.

Duane & Joan Loved traveling, camping & boating. After retiring, Duane became the Mayor of Lebanon. He was a lifelong member of the Lebanon Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Donald & his granddaughter Alicia.

Survivors include his wife Joan; his daughter Kristi; grandson Travis Unruh; his great grandsons. Caleb, Carson, Carter & Cameron Unruh; his brother-in-law, Norman Olliff & many nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sat. June 18 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sweet Home Cemetery, Smith County, with Lance McDowell officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00
