Dolores Ann Haselhorst

Dolores Ann Haselhorst, age 86, of Antonino, Kansas, passed away Friday February 26, 2021, at Via Christi Village Hays. She was born July 19, 1934, in Ellis County Kansas to Felix T. and Anna (Klaus) Werth. She married Orville Haselhorst nearly 69 years ago in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Antonino on May 5, 1952.

Dolores was a homemaker and had worked at Fort Hays State University in McMindes Hall. She was an involved member of Our Lady Help of Christians parish and Christian Mothers. Dolores enjoyed cooking, gardening, music, playing piano and precious time with her family that she held so dear to her heart. Steeped in Faith, Dolores met each day with a firm resolve to serve the Lord and to help others.

She is survived by her husband Orville of Antonino, three sons, Art Haselhorst and wife Shirley (Legleiter), Allen Haselhorst, and Wayne Haselhorst all of Antonino; daughter Ann Cook and husband Ron of Manhattan, Kansas;  brother, Harvey Werth (wife Dorothy) of Hays; five grandchildren, Travis Haselhorst, Tyler and wife (Jobeth) Haselhorst, Trey and wife (Laura) Haselhorst, Danielle Cook, Brandon Cook and fiancé Alissa, as well as three great grandchildren, Tanner Haselhorst, Jillyan Sheldon, and Oliver Haselhorst. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville’s parents, two brothers Harold (wife Betty) and Charles Werth, daughter-in-law Brenda (Arnold) Haselhorst, granddaughter Lisa Pfannenstiel and Orville’s brothers Walter (wife Agedia), Evarist (wife Alice), Merlin and Dennis.

Funeral services will be 10 AM on Monday, March the 1, 2021 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Antonino. The burial will follow in the church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Sunday 5 PM – 8 PM with a combined Christian Mothers rosary and parish vigil at 7 PM. Monday Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM all at Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine St Hays KS 67601. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery Fund.
