HUTCHINSON — The Hutchinson Community College Football team coach Phil Serchia announced via his Twitter account that he will be joining the staff of the Los Angeles Chargers.
Serchia spent the past three seasons with the Blue Dragons as its offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.
Serchia joins another former Blue Dragon coach in Brandon Staley who was the associate head coach and defensive coordinator back in 2010-11 with the Dragons.
Staley was named head coach of the Chargers in January 2021.
Serchia and his wife Alyssa have two daughters, Makena and Hallie, and one son, Kaden.
