THOMAS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Saturday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Peterbilt semi driven by Stacey Lee Rowling, 52, Fernley Nevada, was northbound on County Road 3 at approximately 55 mph.
Another northbound semi loaded with round hay bales passed the Peterbilt semi.
The Peterbilt semi then traveled in the ditch for approximately 75 yards. The driver attempted to bring it back to the road when i overturned. The power unit remained on the road and the trailer ended up in the ditch.
EMS transported Rowling to the Hospital in Colby. The driver was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
