Carl Earnest Wederski, 74, of Colby, formerly of Atwood, died Tuesday, 
June 24, 2020, at Citizens Medical Center, in Colby. He was born May 25,
 1946, in Rawlins County, KS, to Luduish "Lew" and Gertrude A. (Larson) 
Wederski. Carl worked for Worthy Implement, the Kansas Department of 
Transportation and was a member of the Lions Club. On June 13, 1967, he 
married Cheryl Kay Grabenstein. 
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Shayleen Jo Wederski; sister Ila Predue and an infant sister. 
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of Colby; children, Mike Wederski, 
of Topeka, KS and Katelyn Brown of Colby, KS; brothers Earl and Leon 
(Janice); sisters, Mary Lou Miller, Betty (Jim) Unruh and Betsy Ann 
Persinger, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other
 relatives. 
Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Baalmann Mortuary, 
Atwood. Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2020, also at the
 Mortuary. Private inurnment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, 
Atwood. Memorials are suggested to the family or to Northwest Kansas 
Technical College, of Goodland, and can be sent in care of Baalmann
