⚽ FHSU men move up to No. 14 in national rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Men's Soccer moved up eight spots in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday. The Tigers jumped from No. 22 last week to No. 14 this week after a 5-0 win over a previously ranked Maryville team. The Tigers are off to a 3-0 start to the season.

A nationally ranked matchup is right in front of the Tigers on Thursday when they travel to play at No. 19 ranked Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas. The Mustangs were No. 8 in the poll last week, but slid down 11 spots in the latest poll. FHSU will also take on Eastern New Mexico two days later in Wichita Falls.

Fort Hays State (No. 14) and Southern Nazarene (No. 17) represent the Great American Conference in the Top 25. Newman is among the receiving votes section. The No. 14 ranking is the highest for FHSU since September 6, 2022 when they were tabbed No. 12 in the nation.
