ELLIS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Monday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Chevy Spark driven by Raven Noel Brake, 18, Blackwell, Missouri, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just west of Walker.
The driver lost control of the vehicle on the icy road, collided with the bridge railing, spun one complete circle and came to a rest in the median.
EMS transported Brake to Hays Medical Center. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
