BARTON COUNTY - The TMP-Marian girls’ golf team won Monday's Hoisington Invitational held at the Lake Barton Golf Course. The Monarchs shot a 208 in the nine-hole event and tied with host Hoisington.
Plainville’s Corbyn Marquess won the individual title with a 37. Teammate Emily Stamper was part of a three-way tie for second placed with a 48.
Hays High’s Gracie Wente finished fifth with a 49.
TMP was led by Ella Brummer who shot a 51 and finished eighth. Ashley Hipp and Madelyn Rozean both fired a round of 52 and tied for 10th.
