Cindy Laverentz, 56, died Saturday, July 24, 2021, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

She was born June 1, 1965, at Dodge City, the daughter of Richard James and Marie Helen (Baier) Millershaski.  She was a graduate of Ingalls High School and received her Associates Degree from Garden City Community College.  She was a lifetime area resident, she worked at Kids World Day Care in Cimarron and was a school bus driver and worked in grounds maintenance for USD 477 in Ingalls for many years. 

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Ingalls and enjoyed arts & crafts, crocheting, going to the lake and Peanuts Cartoons.

Survivors include: 3 sons, Scott Laverentz, Woodward, Tom Laverentz, Woodward and Rick Laverentz, WaKeeney; her mother, Marie Millershaski, Ingalls; a granddaughter, Thea Laverentz; 4 brothers, Bruce Millershaski and wife Karrie, Montezuma, Gary Millershaski and wife Jana, Lakin, Ralph Millershaski and wife Pam, Ingalls and Greg Millershaski, Ingalls; her sister, Sandy Myers, Cimarron; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 29, 2021, at St. Stanislaus Church, Ingalls.  Graveside service will be at 10:30 am Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Garden City, with Fr. James Baker officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 4:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Cimarron.
