Joyce Michelson, 72, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Holly Heights Care Center in Denver Colorado.

Joyce was born May 16, 1949 in Hays, KS, the daughter of Albert and Lela (Shubert) Heroneme. 

She grew up on the family farm north of Ellis, graduated from Ellis High School and earned a degree in education from Fort Hays State University. 

On August 4, 1973, she married Michael Michelson in Wheatridge, Colorado.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; husband Michael and a son, Patrick.

She is survived by a daughter, Rachel and spouse Shannon McFall-Michelson, Denver, CO; a brother, Alan (Janetta)Heroneme, Ellis, KS; sisters Lyndell (Kevin) Rorabaugh, Ellis, KS; and Bonnie Richards, Denver, CO; a grandson, Anselan Grippin, Denver, CO; and two generations of nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held for immediate family at a later date.&nbsp;&nbsp;
