The Center for Life Experience, Inc., Hays, Kansas, a 501(c)3 organization supporting those in grief in northwest Kansas, is seeking an Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating trauma and grief support groups. In addition, the Executive Director will perform fund-raising functions and administrative duties as required. The ideal candidate will have specialization in trauma, grief and loss and the ability to work effectively with an Executive Board, key stakeholders and office administrator.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are paramount. Applicants with a background in budgeting, grants, social media and non-profit administration will be considered as strong candidates. Applicants should have bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, applied human services or psychology. Licensure in social work or clinical orientation is preferred.
The position offers flexible hours, with some evenings and weekends, along with competitive benefits and salary.
