KDHE: Five new virus cases in Ellis Co. since Friday

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported five new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Friday. There was no case update Monday due to the Fourth of July holiday.

As of Wednesday, the University of Kansas Health System reported two active COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,770 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 73 coronavirus-related deaths.
