THOMAS COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Friday in Thomas Countyh.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Buick LeSabre driven by Woodall, Donald C. Woodall, 69, Oakley, and a 2011 Ford Fusion driven by Holly A. Beckman, 39, Grinnell, were southbound on U.S. 83 eight miles north of Oakley.
The Buick moved to the right shoulder with right turn signal on. The driver then proceeded to turn left in front of the Ford. The Ford struck the drivers side rear quarter area of the Buick.
EMS transported Woodall to Citizen's Medical Center and Beckman to the Logan County Hospital. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
