After graduating eight seniors following the pandemic shortened season of 2020 the TMP-Marian baseball team returns just one starter from 2019.
Coach Aaron Breit enters his third season as head coach of the Monarchs. TMP finished 15-5 in his first season and lost in the sub-state semifinals to Concordia.
Senior Jace Wentling is the lone returning starter for the Monarchs.
He was fourth on the team with a .348 batting average and second on the team with 33 runs scored.
In the first year of a two-year co-op with LaCrosse High School, seven athletes from LaCrosse will join 16 TMP players to make up this year's Monarchs squad.
The Monarchs junior varsity will open the season on Monday, April 5th with the varsity hosing Colby on April 6th.
