Hays band wins chance to perform at Wichita Riverfest; voting open through Sunday

Dangerously Biased, a Hays-based band was announced as a winner in the Wichita Riverfest Ad Astra Song contest Friday, with their entry No Friends Like Strangers, and now hopes their winning entry will push the band to the Riverfest stage.

The song can be seen below as performed by Matt Isley, who along with Sophi Thompson make up Dangerously Biased.

The song was one of four winners selected in the contest that are currently featured on the Riverfest facebook page.

Along with a $500 prize the group is now in the running to perform at during Riverfest.

The entry with the most likes and loves by 11:59 p.m. Sunday on the festival's facebook page will be the People's Choice winner and will be invited to perform during the popular festival in Wichita.
