William
M. "Bill" Brown, age 93, of Osawatomie, Kansas, formerly of Bazine,
Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Overland Park
Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.
He was born
February 29, 1928, in McCracken, Kansas, the son of Melvin Charles and
Permelia S. (Thompson) Brown. Bill joined the U.S. Army during the
Korean Conflict in 1951 and served his tour in Germany.
Bill
married Wilda Vee Hutchinson and this union was blessed with two sons,
she preceded him in death. He married Valdah G. Kuehn and was blessed
with one son, she also preceded him. He then married Judy Creighton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Permelia Brown; one
sister, Wanda Brown; four brothers, Malcom Brown, Norval Brown, Joe
Brown, and Ronald Brown.
Bill is survived by his wife Judy
Brown, of the home; three sons, Tim Brown of Ozark, Missouri; Randy
Brown and wife Dee of Destin, Florida; Vyrl Brown of Hays, Kansas; nine
grandchildren, Shane Brown, Justin Brown, Cassie Brown, Autumn Brown,
Christa Brown, Nathan Brown, Cameron Brown, Jacob Brown, and Eric
Valdez; 12 great grandchildren, Keylee, Chandler, Abbi, Wyatt, Emma,
Bryton, Evan, Holden, James, Marlow, Willa, Tilli, and Aaliyah; one
great-great grandchildren, Adalee Young.
Funeral services will
be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Feuerborn
Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, with family greeting friends one
hour prior to the service.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Bazine Cemetery, Bazine, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial to the William Brown Memorial Fund.
