THOMAS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Friday in Thomas County,
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 GMC Sierra driven by Warren D. Barnett, 68, Colby, was northbound on Kansas 25 seven miles north of Colby. The vehicle rear-ended a 1997 Chevy truck driven by Daniel L Urban, 67, Colby, who was slowing down to turn right on County Road AA.
EMS transported Urban to Citizens Medical Center. Barnett was not injured. The drivers were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
