The Ellis County Health Department on Friday announced a new positive case of COVID-19 had been reported in the county.
The new case has moderate symptoms and is in home isolation. The health department said the individual is not a contact of a known positive and has no recent travel to an area listed as restricted. Contacts will be notified.
