Georgina Elaine Jordan, 86, was born in Nashville, TN, on September 24, 1935, and died on October 30, 2021, in Garden City, KS.
Georgina loved playing family games, especially Bingo, and crocheting
before losing her eyesight. She enjoyed traveling with her husband
Walter and spending time with all her family and friends. She ended
every conversation with, “Don’t work too hard, take care of yourself,
and I love you.”
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Walter Jordan, Hugoton, KS;
her sister, Patricia Woodall, Lancaster, PA; brother, Robert Parsons,
Alexandria, VA and her children; William Jordan and wife Becky, of
Oakley, KS; Ruthann Thrush and husband Roy, of Branson, MO; Holly
Lashmet and wife Judy Bryant, of Bartley, NE; Georgina Lochrie and Mary
Jordan of Hugoton KS. She has 13 wonderful grandchildren: Brandon
Jordan, Beverly Weiss, Benjamin Jordan, Bryce Jordan, Heather McDaniel,
Ashley Hampel, Christopher McDaniel, Brittney Lashmet, Jessica Schmidt,
Ian Lochrie, Robin Hagerman, Shawn Farmer, and Brisa Farmer; and 31
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elaine Victoria Owen and
Robert Parsons, grandson Christian Farmer, and great-grandson Benjamin
Steven Jordan.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the
Hugoton Cemetery with Pastor Robert Phillips officiating. Visitation
will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Garnand
