GRAHAM COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after noon Thursday in Graham County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Nissan Frontier driven by Jeremiah Lacey Bell, 41, Hill City, was westbound on U.S. 24 five and one half miles west of Hill City.
The pickup traveled into the eastbound lane. The pickup and an eastbound 2018 Peterbilt 389 driven by Gregory Chad Burger, 54, Kensington, collided in the eastbound lanes.
Both drivers were pronounced dead and were transported to Stinemetz Funeral Home. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
