Ann Rowh

Ann Rowh, 71, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.

She was born February 13, 1949 in Oberlin, Kansas, the daughter of George and Mary (Johnson) Votapka.  She was a graduate of Jennings High School and on June 10, 1967 she married Rex Rowh in Jennings, Kansas. This year they celebrated their 53rd anniversary.  They moved to Cimarron from Jennings over 50 years ago.  She was a Para Legal for Kyler Knobbe Law Office in Cimarron for more than 40 years. 

Ann was the Treasurer for the Gray County Fair Board for over 20 years and spent many hours preparing and serving her infamous fair board beans. Ann was a member of the Gray/Ford County Legal Professional Association and held several elected office positions at the local, state, and national levels. She was also a member of the Pawnee Acer Community Building in Kalvesta.  Ann loved to cook and bake and prepared food for numerous fund-raising events and funerals. She was very well known for her coconut and chocolate cream pies.

Survivors include: their 3 children, Jodi Rowh Inguanza and husband Raymond, Cimarron, Kip Rowh and companion Stacy Hilbrich, Bay City, Texas and Jason Rowh, Jennings, Kansas; her brother, Tom “Mot” Votapka, Jennings; 2 sisters, Sue Long, Jennings and Jean Lee Halligan and husband Rollie, Goodland; 7 grandchildren, Samantha Inguanza and fiancé, Derek Karst, Meagan Inguanza, Christopher Inguanza, Timothy Rowh and wife Sarah, Luke Rowh, Drake Rowh and fiancé Breanna Blackheart, her two children Brixtyn and Bristal and Brecken Rowh; and 3 great grandchildren, Riley Rowh, Jackson Rowh and Madison Rowh.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Rex on December 21, 2020.

Memorials services will be held for Rex and Ann will be announced and held at a later date.  There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
