RUSSELL COUNTY—A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Sunday in Russell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford F250 driven by Ryan Knight Pickens, 22, Garden City, was eastbound on Homer Road just east of 182 Street.
The driver lost control due to speed. The pickup traveled into the ditch and rolled.
EMS transported Pickens to Russell Regional Hospital. A passenger Tabatha Lynn Yakubovich, 38, Garden City, was not transported for treatment despite a complaint of pain. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
