HaysMed is honored to have been chosen by the Kansas Hospital Association (KHA) to feature in a special presentation highlighting the critical role of Respiratory Therapists during the 2025 Virtual Health Career Day held on January 30.

This event is part of KHA’s ongoing effort to educate and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals and successfully attracted over 4,200 high school and college students from across Kansas, offering them an insight into the vital positions within healthcare.

The presentation included a comprehensive video that provided viewers with an insider look at a typical day for a respiratory therapist at HaysMed.

This was complemented by a recorded live question and answer session, where HaysMed's Cardiopulmonary Manager, Hunter Bell, alongside Brian Pfannenstiel, director of Critical Care, discussed their experiences and responded to questions from participants. This session provided an understanding of the demands and rewards associated with frontline patient care.
