
Leon Wesley Schroeder, 53, of Levant, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Mo. He was born Jan. 16, 1968, in Colby, to Robert L. Schroeder, Sr. and Helen (Jensen) Schroeder.
Leon was a farmer, he also ran cattle and
enjoyed running the combine. He was a member of Masons, Isis Shrine,
Sons of the American Legion, and the Elks. Leon enjoyed attending as
many Brewster sports as he could and traveling with the Brewster High
School seniors, as a sponsor, to Mexico for senior trips. In his spare
time, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and gambling.
Leon was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Rasmus and Sarah
Jensen and Leon and Protus Schroeder; aunts and uncles, Ken and Chris
Weed, Marvin and Mary Garrett, John Schroeder and Keith Frodin; and
cousins, Rick Schroeder, Bill Frodin, Gloria Ribordy and Linda Roesch.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Schroeder, of Levant; brother Robert
Schroeder Jr., of Levant; aunts, Lois Anne Frodin, of Goodland and
Betty Schroeder, of Colby, and numerous cousins.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will take place at the Colby
United Methodist Church in the coming weeks. The family requests you
dress casual as Leon preferred.
