The Ellis County Public Works Road and Bridge Division is announcing that an asphalt road sealing project will take place on Highway 40 between US 183 Alternate and Yocemento Avenue.

This area will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31 and will remain closed until the project is completed. 

The project is expected to be completed by 5:30 p.m. on the same day. Motorists traveling in the affected closure area should use alternate routes of travel until the project is complete.
