Saint Francis Ministries will host the first annual “In Faith Conference” in Hays for foster and adoptive families.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church, 1605 E. 29th. Cost is $30 per person. Those who register by Friday, Oct. 24, will receive a conference T-shirt. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
Kristy Opat with Saint Francis said in a news release that the conference “is a day for foster, adoptive, and kinship parents to come and have their cups filled so that they can continue to do all they do--in faith.”The event will include teaching sessions and time to connect with others, she said. A “resource fair” will have booths from area organizations that provide services to children and families.
