TOPEKA — Angie Zimmerman, Hays, the executive director of <a href="https://www.linkinc.org/">Living Independently in Northwest Kansas</a> (LINK), has been appointed to to state councils by Gov. Laura Kelly.

Purpose:&nbsp;To review, analyze, and advise rehabilitation services regarding the performance of the state workforce investment board.

Statewide Independent Living Council of Kansas

Purpose:&nbsp;To develop a state plan through external input, ensuring independent living for Kansans, to advocate for the accomplishment of the state plan objectives, to monitor, review, and evaluate the state plan’s implementation, and to be a catalyst for independent living.
