2 hospitalized after ATV strikes a deer in NW Kansas

PHILLIPS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Thursday in Phillips County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported an ATV Razor driven by  Tucker William Mobbs, 19, Cedartown, Georgia, was eastbound on Early Eve Road.

The ATV struck a deer in the road, entered the south ditch and rolled several times.

EMS transported Mobbs and a passenger Herman Van Mobbs, 51, Cedartown, Georgia, to the hospital in Phillipsburg. They were not wearing helmets, according to the KHP.
