Former Fort Hays State All-American defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd has re-signed with the New York Jets. Terms of the deal were not released.
Shepherd played in all 17 games this past season and had 28 tackles and eight quarterback hits while playing a career-high 495 defensive snaps.
Shepherd was a third-round draft pick in 2018 and has played in 56 games with nine starts, all with the Jets. The Ajax, Ontario, Canada native has totaled 71 tackles, nine tackles for loss and has 27 quarterback hits and 4 1/2 sacks.
