
The bitterly cold north wind will turn to warming south winds beginning Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service in Dodge City said.
On Saturday, the high temperature will be in the low-50s, jumping all the way to the low-70s by Sunday.
Sunday also bring an increasing chance of rain or thunderstorms. Winds will pick up Sunday afternoon, gusting to 36 mph. There is a 40 percent chance of precipitation in the afternoon, increasing to 60 percent in the evening.
Skies will be clear to start the work week, and highs will remain in the upper-50s to low-60s through Wednesday.
