HAYS - Hays Larks catcher Dylan LaRue has signed a free agent contract with the Lake Country DockHounds of the American Association of Professional Baseball, an official Partner League of Major League Baseball.

LaRue hit .304 in 17 games for the Larks this summer, collecting seven doubles, three home runs and 16 RBIs.

The Blanco, Texas, native batted .316 with 25 home runs and 101 RBIs in two seasons at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. He also played 79 games over two seasons at Houston Christian before transferring to Cumberland.
