TOPEKA - A couple of Mid-Continent League standouts have been named to the Kansas Volleyball Coaches Association's 2022 All Star squad. TMP-Marian's Emilee Lane, Smith Center's Tallon Rentschler and Ashlyn Long and Central Plain's Kassidy Nixon will all compete in the annual All-Star Match June 4, 2022 at Lee Arena on the Washburn campus. Match time will be 6:30 pm.
Smith Center's Nick Linn has been named one of the All-Star Match coaches.
The players selected are first nominated by their high school coaches (who must be KVA members), and then recommended by committee to fill the squads based on achievements, positions, classifications, collegiate plans and availability.
