SHERMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Saturday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Brandon John Knipp, 40, Russell, was westbound on Old Highway 24 just west of County Road 21.
The front brake locked up. The motorcycle entered the north ditch and came to rest on its left side. EMS transported Knipp to Goodland Regional Medical Center. A passenger Shelby Ann Knipp, 38, Russell, was not injured. They were not wearing helmets, according to the KHP.
