The TMP-Marian Lady Monarchs earned the No. 8 seed in the 2A Sublette sub-state #1 next week and will host Medicine Lodge in the first round.
TMP finished the regular season 12-9 and will host the 10-10 Indians on Friday, Feb. 28 at Al Billinger Fieldhouse.
The winner will get the top-seed Wichita County (19-1) or the 16-seed Sublette in the semifinals.
The bottom side of the bracket has the No. 4 seed Hoxie hosting 13-seed Sterling and the No. 5 Oakley Plainsmen taking on No. 12 Trego.
The winners will play each other, at the higher seed on March 5th and the two sub-state championship games will be March 8.
Ellinwood is the No. 2 seed and will host 15-seed Hill City in the first round Friday.
Syracuse, the No. seven-seed takes on the 10-seed Stanton County, and the will fill has the higher.
Phillipsburg is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 14 points.
