In partnership with KDHE and @tourhealth, ECHD has announced free drive-through testing for COVID-19 starting this week.
Testing is available Monday, 11/23/2020 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm and Tuesday, 11/24/2020, Wednesday, 11/25/2020 and Friday, 11/27/2020 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at Big Creek Crossing Mall, 2918 Vine St, Hays, KS 67601. This is a reliable, PCR-based test. No appointment is necessary. Please ensure that you are following COVID-19 safe practices which includes isolating yourself following testing until you receive results.
We encourage all of Ellis County to continue to follow best practices as we attempt to move forward with life.
Do NOT gather in groups.
Do social distance.
Do wash your hands frequently.
Do wear a mask if you cannot socially distance.
Do isolate immediately if you feel ill.
Do call your doctor for questions regarding your symptoms and testing.
Do continue to protect yourself, loved ones and the community.
