Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas has announced that the Esther McMurtrie Memorial Golf Tournament raised over $11,800. The four-person scramble tournament was held Sept. 30 at the Ellis Golf Club. 

Proceeds are being used for kitchen renovation at one of DSNWK’s group homes in Hays. 

"DSNWK would like to thank the many participants, contributors and supporters who made the event a success," the organization said in a news release.

DSNWK is a 501(c)3 non-profit serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the 18 most northwestern Kansas counties. Golf tourney proceeds benefit DSNWK home in Hays
