Lucille Rae Jacobs passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center, KS. She was born May 27, 1936, in Osborne, KS to Leland and Ruby (Walker) Maupin.
Lucy enjoyed gardening, sewing, her and Victor were members of the Jolly Mixer’s Square Dancers, and she had a strong faith in God.
Lucy was married to Warren Curry until his untimely passing. On February 14, 1965, she married Victor Jacobs. This union were parents to two children, Laura and Daniel.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Victor and many in-laws and other family members.
She is survived by her children Laura Jacobs of Hays, KS and Daniel (Sabrina) of Smith Center, KS; sister Gloria Harmon of Russell, KS; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
