Dennis Ray Rall was born February 2, 1964 in Hoxie, Kansas to Elta
(Detjen) and Elmer Rall. He was the youngest of three sons. Dennis
passed away October 17th, 2021 at the Sheridan County Hospital. As a
child he was baptized and confirmed in the Hoxie Lutheran Church.
Dennis graduated from the Hoxie High School with the class of 1982.
After graduation, Dennis continued to live and work in Hoxie for the
rest of his life.
Dennis worked at the Sheridan County Hospital, Hoxie Feedlot, Pratt
Ranch, Taylor Implement and most recently at BTI. He loved animals and
raised many different birds and livestock. He enjoyed going to animal
sales and talking with people there. Everyone knew “Popcorn”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elta and Elmer Rall, his grandparents, and other family members.
Survivors include brothers, Doug Rall (Lisa) and David Rall (Sandra)
all of Hoxie, Kansas; nephews, Clayton Rall (Megan) of El Paso, Texas
and Taylor Rall (Alex) of Hoxie, Kansas; great-nieces Brandon Rall of El
Paso, Texas and Crimsyn Rall of Hoxie, Kansas. Dennis has family and
friends who will mourn his passing.
A funeral service is planned for Friday, October 22, 2021, 11:00
A.M., at the Christ Community Church, Hoxie, Kansas. Visitation will be
Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with family
receiving friends from 5:30 P.M until 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the
family suggests memorials to the Sheridan County Benefit Walk. Words

Dennis has family and friends who will mourn his loss.
The dress code for those attending the funeral is casual.
